Planning and Construction of POPUP Space for Diptyque “Orphéon” Launch

paradise planned and constructed the limited-time POPUP stores of Diptyque, the luxury French fragrance brand. This special project coincided with the launch of Diptyque’s signature fragrance, “Orphéon.” The POPUPs were held in three iconic Japanese cities—Aoyama, Marunouchi, and Kyoto—with each space thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the unique character of its location. Rather than simply promoting the product, the design embodied Diptyque’s philosophy of “expressing scent as a spatial experience.” Every element—visuals, textures, flow, and lighting—was carefully crafted to create a delicate, immersive environment.

paradise’s Spatial Production: A Memorable Scent Experience

The Diptyque POPUP was designed not just as a sales space, but as a place to create deep emotional connections between the brand and its customers. Through this project, paradise reaffirmed the importance of visualizing brand philosophy in spatial design and crafting experiences that truly resonate. Translating the scent of Orphéon into a spatial format requires a balance between architectural logic and poetic expression. Moving forward, paradise remains committed to understanding luxury brand identities and delivering spatial designs that are both innovative and suited to local culture.
