paradise handled brand assets for “MOSS,” a members-only shisha bar in Ebisu, including logo design, typeface selection, shop cards, and interior direction. The project aimed to express a luxurious, hidden retreat for adults—both through branding and spatial design—creating a refuge from the hustle and bustle outside. The visual identity was designed to reflect the space’s ambiance, with careful attention to details that resonate with customers and shape the brand’s unique character.

Logo Design and Typography That Wraps in Smoke and Silence

The MOSS logo, a central brand symbol, abstracts the gentle drift of shisha smoke into delicate, glossy lines. By avoiding excess ornamentation, the design evokes an organic, sensual flicker—capturing the brand’s subtle luxury and tranquil allure. The chosen typeface balances readability with personality and is consistently applied across the logo, shop cards, interior signage, and other materials. Its minimalist style and elegant use of negative space effectively convey the brand’s tone and aesthetic.

MOSS is a private space, not open to the public, where guests seek a memorable, special night. paradise emphasized this exclusivity through subtle, thoughtful details rather than flashy effects. By focusing on essential brand assets in the early phase and seamlessly aligning space, experience, and branding, paradise highlighted the intimate charm unique to MOSS.
